Arsenal’s central midfield options could take a significant hit during the course of the next 18 months, with Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla both seeing their contracts expire this summer, whilst there’s growing concerns Aaron Ramsey could walk in 2019.
As such, reinforcements in the middle of the park are necessary and Bournemouth starlet Lewis Cook would be an ideal candidate to bolster this area of the field, especially as he could develop into one of the Premier League’s finest players.
At 21 years of age, Cook has earned 27 Premier League appearances for the Cherries and his stock is rising, with the young midfielder ever-present throughout the age groups at international level- now boasting five caps for the U21 side.
A rise to the first-team could follow, particularly in the post-World Cup era, and Arsenal would benefit from his services.
