RB Leipzig are lining up an offer for Arsenal target Nadiem Amiri, according to Bild.
The German publication says that the Bundesliga side have already held “loose discussions” with the midfielder’s club Hoffenheim about a potential transfer.
Amiri reportedly has a buyout clause of €17m (£15m), with the Gunners and Tottenham both tracking the 21 year old’s progress.
Leipzig however have money to spend with Naby Keita leaving for Liverpool in the summer for a deal worth £58m. Amiri would also likely be the Guinean international’s replacement if he were to make the move.
Amiri only signed a new three year contract in the summer, but he has recently left his agent to be managed by his brother Nauwid, who refused to comment when asked by Bild about Leipzig’s interest
The attacking midfielder has had a decent season for Hoffenheim, and in 19 appearances, he has scored four times and contributed two assists.
