Arsenal have made their move for Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, according to reports in Catalonia.

Both Catalan newspapers Sport and Mundo Deportivo say the Gunners have informed Barca they want to sign the Brazilian international, but the La Liga side also have proposals from Inter Milan and Celta Vigo.

It is not known if Arsenal want the player on a permanent basis or on loan, but both Sport and Mundo Deportivo believe Inter’s and Celta’s offers are loan deals.

While Sport say that all “three offers” are being considered by Rafinha, Mundo Deportivo say Inter are close to sealing his signature, with Barcelona awaiting Inter’s final proposal in the “next few days.”

The Gunners have been heavily linked with the 24 year old since the summer, but the midfielder’s recovery from a knee injury took longer than expected. The Brazilian has been sidelined since April, but has now returned to full fitness.

Rafinha is believed to be seeking first team football in order to stake his claim for a place in Brazil’s final 23 man squad for the World Cup in Russia.
