Manchester United have joined Arsenal in pursuing Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes, according to Marca (via the Mirror).
The Madrid based newspaper say that United are now tracking the Portuguese international. The 21 year old is currently on loan at Valencia until the end of the season, but PSG could sell the midfielder for £30m to balance the books.
The Ligue One side’s heavy outlays on Neymar and Kylian Mbappe mean they face an uphill task to keep within UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, and it means they will be open to Guedes’s summer sale.
The playmaker has been in great form during his loan spell in Spain. In 16 appearances for Valencia, he has scored three goals and contributed five assists.
Guedes has been on Arsenal’s radar for quite a while. Even before his move to PSG last January, the Gunners had reportedly scouted the Portuguese starlet on numerous occasions whilst playing for Benfica.
