Arsenal have “no meetings” scheduled with Bordeaux about signing Malcom, according to RMC Sport.
Sky in Italy have reported today that the Gunners will hold talks about signing the Brazilian Under 20 international, but RMC have asked the player’s representatives who have denied any knowledge about a meeting happening this week.
The French TV network also say that Bordeaux have not received any offers from Arsenal for Malcom, but they do believe the London club are interested in the 20 year old.
English tabloid the Mirror believe the Gunners could be about to bid £45m for the winger, with the Brazilian said to be a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.
Manchester City are believed to be keen to sign the Chilean international this month, rather than wait until the end of the season when they can sign the 29 year old on a free transfer.
The Evening Standard journalist James Olley reports that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is close to getting £40m from City for Sanchez.
