Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay has a release clause of €32m (£28m) according to Sport Bild.
The German publication reports that Arsenal are among seven clubs pursuing the 24 year old with Borussia Dortmund, Everton, Liverpool, AC Milan, Atlético Madrid and Schalke all keen on the player.
Demirbay was first linked with the Gunners back in October with Calciomercato stating that the London club were vying with Milan for the German international.
The playmaker was in excellent form for Hoffenheim last season, having scored six goals and provided ten assists in 28 league games. His performances were rewarded with a call up for Germany’s Confederations Cup squad last summer.
Demirbay scored on his only appearance at the tournament, in the 3-1 win over Cameroon in the group stages.
For Hoffenheim this campaign, he has not performed to the same high level, but he has still played 22 games in all competitions, with two goals and five assists.
