Sevilla could sell Steven N’Zonzi in order to fund a move for Racing Genk midfielder Sander Berge, according to Marca.
The Norwegian international has been a target for Arsenal in the past as well, but the Madrid based newspaper say that Sevilla sporting director Oscar Arias has made the 19 year old a priority signing.
In the Belgian Jupiler Pro League this season, Berge started the first 12 matches, but a torn muscle sustained in the 2-0 home win against Club Brugge in late October, has meant the holding midfielder has missed the club’s last six games in all competitions.
The Gunners were linked with the Norwegian starlet back in June when the Mirror (via the Sun) reported that Arsene Wenger was targeting the midfielder in an £18m move.
The newspaper said that Arsenal have watched Berge play on a number of occasions, with Sevilla, Monaco and Everton also keeping a close eye on the player.
