Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is a target for Belgian side Club Brugge, according to Proximus TV (via VoetbalBelgie.be).
The Jupiler Pro League club are actively seeking a first choice keeper, and have narrowed down their search to two players: Ospina and KAS Eupen stopper Hendrik Van Crombrugge.
The Colombian international was linked last month with a move back to his homeland to play for his first club Atletico Nacional, but the story was swiftly denied by the Colombian outfit.
Ospina has only played five games this season, and all have come in cup competitions. The 29 year old is reportedly concerned about his World Cup place if he isn’t playing regular first team football.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has however told fringe players not to expect to leave in the January transfer window, with the Frenchman stating that he will put the needs of the club before his players’ personal ambitions.
