Arsenal have revived their move for Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado, according to Rai Sport (via Juvelive.it).

The TV channel report that the Gunners have sent scouts to watch the Colombian international in action recently, but they will face stiff resistance from Juve who see the 29 year old as an integral part of the team.

Despite signing Douglas Costa from Bayern Munich and Federico Bernardeschi from Fiorentina to strengthen in wide positions over the summer, Bianconeri boss Max Allegri has continued to pick Cuadrado regularly.

In 19 appearances in all competitions, the winger has scored four times and contributed five assists so far. Juvelive.it report that Juventus would demand as much as €35m (£31m) for the midfielder.

Considering his age, and his failure the last time he played in the Premier League with Chelsea, the constant rumours in the Italian press about the Gunners’ interest in Cuadrado are surprising. Whether they will in fact make their move in January for the Colombian, we will have to wait and see.
