Arsenal are one of at least four teams keeping tabs on Ajax winger David Neres, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Brazilian Under 20 international has been in excellent form in the Eredivisie this season, and his performances have also attracted interest from the Gunners’ London rivals Tottenham, as well as Manchester United and Juventus.

Neres only signed from Sao Paulo for €12million last January, but he has excelled in his first full season in Dutch football. The right sided midfielder has already scored eight goals and provided 12 assists in 22 matches this campaign.

Ajax are said to have placed a €25million (£22m) asking price on the Brazilian but this could rise further between now and the end of the season when the Eredivisie side may consider selling the wide man.

The starlet is predominantly left footed but generally plays from the right hand side as an inverted winger. He has pace to burn, and at 20 years of age, he has huge potential to make improvements in his game.
