Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi is edging closer to the exit door at his current club after Mundo Deportivo revealed that the Frenchman is now not even training with the first team squad.

Arsenal, Everton and Juventus are the teams that have been most heavily linked with a January bid for the 28 year old, and it seems he will be available for transfer with the midfielder’s relationship with manager Eduardo Berizzo hitting a new low.

Mundo Deportivo report that N’Zonzi had a blazing row with Berizzo last month, when the team were 3-0 down at half time against Liverpool. Since then the France international has not played a single game. He was, up until recently, still training with the rest of the squad, but since the return of Berizzo from cancer treatment, it seems the midfielder has been training with injured players in the gym despite not being injured himself.

The biggest stumbling block to any move going ahead next month is the player’s release clause. Sevilla won’t accept a bid for N’Zonzi for less than €35m (£31m), and it could put off the Gunners and other interested clubs.
