The 21 year old is one of Argentina’s brightest young prospects after making his debut for the national side earlier this month. Along with the Gunners, Manchester United, Manchester City, Inter Milan and Sporting Lisbon are all keeping a close eye on the player.
Pavon only signed a new five year contract back in August, and has a reported $37.5m release clause. The player is unlikely to leave Boca until 2018, the Corriere Dello Sport say, as Pavon has ambitions of winning the Copa Libertadores. Next year’s final will be in December 2018 so it is not expected that the player will move either this January or in the summer.
The winger has been in excellent form in the Argentina Primera Division this season, with three goals and six assists in ten games for Boca so far.
