Arsenal are preparing an offer for Gremio number ten Luan, along with two other teams, according to Calciomercato.com.

The 24 year old was the star player for his club as Gremio won the Copa Libertadores earlier this month, and his performances have attracted the attention of the Gunners, along with Everton and La Liga club Atletico Madrid.

Luan has been widely tipped to make a move to Europe for a while, but in recent days, the forward has dampened speculation that he could make a January move. He was quoted by the Sun as saying:

“I’m not in a hurry to move to Europe. The ideal moment is yet to come.”

Whether that means he is not leaving, it remains to be seen. However, Calciomercato believe that the player could be sold with the Brazilian international rated at €30m or £26.4m

Playing mostly as a support striker last campaign, Luan racked up 15 goals and six assists, including scoring eight times as Gremio lifted the Copa Libertadores, after beating Lanus in the final over two legs.
