Arsenal target Danilo Pereira is not interested in moving from Porto in the January transfer window, reports noticiasaominuto.com.

The website also confirmed that Gunners scout Luis Boa Morte was in the stands to see the Porto midfielder in action against Maritimo on Monday night. On Tuesday, Portuguese newspaper A Bola revealed that a Gunners representative was at the match, but provided no more detail about the scouting trip.

Former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Boa Morte has watched Danilo on a number of occasions, and it seems that the London club’s long standing interest in the 26 year old continues.

Noticias ao Minuto have however received information that suggests that a January bid would not be welcome by the player. The Portuguese international is an integral part of the side who are currently unbeaten in the league, and have made it to the last 16 of the Champions League.

Whether the player’s attitude will change in the summer, it remains to be seen. The €60m (£53m) rated midfield enforcer has been in excellent form this season, having played 22 times, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.
