The agent of Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan has told Catalan newspaper Sport that he expects the Turkish international to have a new club lined up by the end of the month.
Ahmed Bulut and Arda have been pictured in London, increasing speculation that the 30 year old could be on the way to Arsenal, and talking about his client’s future, Bulut confirmed there are three to four offers on the table, although at this stage he is unsure whether it will be a permanent transfer or a loan move:
“Arda will have a team in fifteen days, we have three or four offers , although we still do not know if it will be a [loan] assignment or a transfer.”
Offers are said to be from both the Premier League and Italy, but another Catalan publication Mundo Deportivo does not believe that negotiations are progressing well with the Gunners.
Sources close to the player suggested that the player’s first choice was Monaco, but negotiations were not successful between the midfielder and the Ligue One side. The same sources told that the newspaper that even though contact has been made with Arsenal, talks “do not advance,” suggesting that his destination may well not be the Emirates Stadium either.
