Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is considering leaving the Bernabeu just four months after joining from Real Betis, according to Don Balon.

Arsenal were one of a number of teams that were pursuing the Spanish under 21 international in the summer, but the 21 year old opted to stay in Spain and take his chances of breaking through into the La Liga champions’ first team.

Ceballos has made just three starts under manager Zinedine Zidane, one of which came in the 2-1 win over Alaves in September when he scored a match winning brace.

The midfielders only other start in the league came late last month in the 3-0 home win against Eibar, and his lack of minutes on the pitch has meant that he is considering a January exit from the club.

Don Balon believe that his next destination could be Serie A. They report that Ceballos has already received an offer from Juventus and that other Italian clubs are equally keen. With Arsenal needing to strengthen the centre of midfield as well, will they also make a move?
