Juventus have tried to tempt Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin into leaving for Italy, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
The Spaniard was linked with the Serie A champions in the summer after the Bianconeri lost their first choice right back Dani Alves, and TMW reports that the club attempted to contact Bellerin’s agent in order to persuade the 22 year old into moving to Turin.
The defender reportedly could not come to an agreement with Juve and he remained at the Emirates stadium. He was previously keen on a move to Barcelona but the Catalan club withdrew their interest in the summer after baulking at the player’s asking price.
Bellerin signed a six and a half year contract back in November last year, and it seems that despite interest from the likes of Barca and Juventus, the Spanish international looks set to stay with the Gunners for a while yet. The defender has continued to play regularly under Arsene Wenger, and has played 13 games in all competitions this season, providing one assist.
