Deportivo La Coruna are considering reviving their attempts to sign Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, according to El Gol Digital.

The Spanish publication reports that Depor were considering making a bid for the Colombian international in the summer, but decided to focus their attentions on signing just Lucas Perez instead.

The La Liga side have four senior club goalkeepers but are said to be unhappy with the quality they have at their disposal in the position, and the addition of an international keeper like Ospina is something they are keen to do.

Last week, reports in Colombia had suggested that the 29 year old may return to first club Atletico Nacional in January, but his old side subsequently strongly denied they were looking to bid for their former player.

Ospina has played just four times this campaign with games coming only in the Europa League and the Carabao Cup. A groin strain however curtailed his appearances even in those competitions, with the Colombian having to miss out on the fourth round of the League Cup against Norwich City, and the double header against Red Star Belgrade in Europe.
