Arsenal are keeping tabs on Porto midfielder Danilo Pereira, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Portuguese international has been linked with the Gunners in the past, but the Italian website report that two Ligue One clubs, Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco, are now also tracking the 26 year old.

Pereira has been an integral part of Porto’s unbeaten start to the league season. They currently sit top of the Primeira Liga after eleven games played, having only dropped points in one match, against Sporting Lisbon in a 0-0 draw at the start of the October.

The defensive midfielder has started all but one of Porto’s league games this campaign, having only missed out on the team’s 2-0 win over Belenenses ten days ago due to suspension.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is likely to want to strengthen his options the middle of the park, with the squad lacking a strong presence to break up opposition attacks, and Pereira would no doubt be an option that the Frenchman is considering.
