Barcelona midfielder Andre Gomes will not be leaving the Catalan club next month, according to A Bola.
The Portuguese international was linked with a move to Arsenal as part of a deal that would see Mesut Ozil move in the other direction, but it looks as though the 24 year old will remain in a Barca shirt until at least the end of the season,
Gomes has not performed to expectations since his £31.5million move from Valencia just 18 months ago, and there had been talk over the summer that the player would be sold with the likes of Serie A champions Juventus and Spurs reportedly having looked at signing the player.
The midfielder is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, but it must be said the Portuguese star has not figured very prominently under manager Ernesto Valverde even when fit, with just four starts in all competitions this season so far for Barca.
