Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura says he is determined to win back his place in the first team after the arrival of both Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

Ex PSG team mate Alex had called on the 25 year old to leave the Parc des Princes in order to get more first team football, with Arsenal a suggested destination.

Moura started this season injured but he has been fit since early September. He has however only managed two substitute appearances so far for PSG despite having his best season of his career last campaign for the Ligue One club.

The Brazilian scored 19 times and provided 11 assists in 53 matches for the French side last term, and speaking to UOL Esporte (translated by the Metro), the winger says he is determined to regain his starting spot:

“I need to concentrate on improving at PSG. The season began in a difficult way for me, but my aim is to win back my starting place and the great moments that I had last year.”

It will be tough considering the front three of PSG have already scored 22 between them this campaign. If he doesn’t get more games between now and January, Moura may have to consider his options when the transfer window reopens.
