Porto will not allow midfielder Danilo Pereira to leave the club in the January transfer window, according to A Bola.

The Portuguese publication were responding to reports from the Spanish media that Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez was in Andorra to watch Pereira play for Portugal against the European minnows on Saturday.

Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have all also been closely watching the 26 year old in recent months according to another Portuguese newspaper Record.

It doesn’t look like any of the four clubs will be able to sign Pereira any time soon though as A Bola say that Porto consider the sale of the Portuguese international as “absolutely non-negotiable.”

The midfield enforcer only signed a new five and a half year contract last January, and he is seen as an integral part of the Portuguese league leader’s team, having started every single game for his club so far this season.
