Arsenal and Inter Milan are both considering whether to make a bid for Atlanta United attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron in the January transfer window, according to Don Balon.
The Spanish publication reports that the Gunners were looking at the 23 year old in the summer but decided not to make an offerfor the MLS player. They may however make an attempt to sign the playmaker when the window reopens.
Almiron only signed from Argentinian club Lanus for £6.75m last January, breaking MLS’s transfer record, but he has already proven an astute signing for Atlanta. In 29 league appearances so far this season, he has scored nine times and contributed eight assists.
Whether the midfielder would have what it takes to make it in the Premier League though remains up for debate. He has so far featured ten times for Paraguay’s senior side, but he is yet to get off the mark for his country.
