and are both considering whether to make a bid for attacking midfielder Miguel Almiron in the January window, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish publication reports that were looking at the 23 year old in the summer but decided not to make an offerfor the player. They may however make an attempt to sign the playmaker when the window reopens.

Almiron only signed from Argentinian club Lanus for £6.75m last January, breaking MLS’s record, but he has already proven an astute signing for Atlanta. In 29 league appearances so far this season, he has scored nine times and contributed eight assists.

Whether the midfielder would have what it takes to make it in the though remains up for debate. He has so far featured ten times for Paraguay’s senior side, but he is yet to get off the mark for his country.
