Arsenal could consider replacing Alexis Sanchez with AC Milan striker Andre Silva if the Rossoneri miss out on the Champions League, reports the Sun.

The Portuguese international only signed for the Serie A side in the summer for €38m (£34m), and has already impressed during his brief spell in Italy. Milan however have struggled at the beginning of the season having lost four of their first eight league games despite investing nearly €200m before the start of the campaign.

Manager Vincenzo Montella is under increasing pressure after the 3-2 defeat to city rivals Inter at the weekend. The Rossoneri’s Chinese owners have set out a minimum target of finishing in the Champions League places this season, although the club’s poor start will now make that harder to achieve.

The Sun reports that if Milan don’t turn things around, they may have to sell players in the summer after also losing sponsorship with the likes of Audi and Adidas. Whether than means selling Silva, it remains to be seen.
