Arsenal and Serie A side AC Milan are keeping tabs on Lyon striker Amine Gouiri, according to the Daily Express journalist Neil Fissler.
The teenager has an outstanding record in youth football with 15 goals in just 13 appearances for France’s Under 17 side. He is yet to make a senior first team appearance for Lyon but he was promoted to the club’s senior squad at the start of the season.
The Gunners have had scouts regularly watching Gouiri in youth team matches, the Express reports, and the 17 year old is no doubt one of France’s brightest talents coming through the system currently.
The forward would likely have been scouted during Lyon’s participation in the UEFA Youth League this season. The fact that the youngster has not scored in his first five games in the competition suggests that he has still some way to go in his development yet, despite the interest being shown in him.
