Everton have joined Arsenal and Manchester City in scouting Wolves left back Ruben Vinagre, according to the Daily Mail.

The 18 year old is on loan from Ligue One side Monaco, and he has been excelling in the Championship with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side currently topping the table.

Vinagre has been watched by both the Gunners and City since 2016, when he helped Portugal’s under 17s side win the European Championships.

Since then, the full back has progressed to under 19 level for his country. At club level, he has yet to make an appearance for his parent club Monaco, and he actually made his debut in senior football for Wolves against Yeovil Town in the EFL Cup back in August.

So far, Vinagre has played more games as a left winger than at left back as he is eased into life with the club’s first team. His first senior goal came playing in the position in a 4-0 win over Burton Albion at the end of last month.
