Arsenal will be keeping tabs on Chelsea attacking midfielder Charly Musonda’s contract negotiations, according to the Evening Standard.

The newspaper reports that the Gunners, Manchester United and Celtic have all looked at the Belgian starlet over the past year or so.

The 20 year old has 21 months remaining on his deal at Stamford Bridge but there was reportedly a delay in negotiations starting over a new contract because the Belgian Under 21 international was uncertain about his role under manager Antonio Conte.

The winger starred in the Blues’s 5-1 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup last Wednesday and he was given a place on the subs bench for the 4-0 over Stoke in the league on Saturday.

Still, Musonda may have to decide what is best for his development. Despite spending five years at Stamford Bridge, he has made just three appearances for the club’s first team so far. It must be said however that all three have come this season under Conte, which suggests that the Italian is unlikely to want the player to leave the Blues in the near future.
