goalkeeper has said he has spoken to about whether he has the motivation to continue playing for in the final year of his contract.

Sanchez’s international team mate Claudio Bravo confirmed that the star felt bitter about his deadline day move to Manchester City collapsing but Cech believes the Chilean’s burning desire to win football matches will mean he will give his all for the remainder of his time at the Emirates. He told the Evening Standard:

“I spoke with Alexis and he wants to win. Sometimes people say ‘he does this, he does that’ but I think in a way, he is a guy who plays with all his passion and all his heart.”

Sanchez was greeted with some boos when he came on for his 15 minute cameo in the 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday. With the player’s future seemingly in limbo after failing to agree a new contract to stay at Arsenal, Gunners will at least be hoping that he does put in the 100% effort as Cech believes he will do between now, and whenever he leaves the club.
