Arsenal and Everton have both sent scouts to Italy to watch 18 year old North Korean international Han Kwang-song, according to the Sun.
The striker joined Cagliari in 2015 as a youth player but he burst on to the scene at the end of last season after scoring in a 3-2 home defeat against Torino in April. He made five appearances in total in Serie A during the latter stages of the 2016/17 campaign.
To gain more first team experience, he was loaned to Serie B club Perugia at the beginning of this season. He has started all three of the Italian side’s matches so far, including scoring a hat-trick in only his second appearance for the club in a 5-1 away victory against Virtus Entella at the end of last month. The forward is currently topping the Serie B scoring charts with four goals.
In addition to the Gunners and the Toffees, Serie A champions Juventus are also said to be keeping an eye on Kwang-song’s progress. Scouts are likely to be watching when Perugia face Cittadella on Monday night.
