Arsenal have enquired about Partizan Belgrade’s teenage stiker Dusan Vlahovic, according to Sportmediaset (via Tribal Football).
The Italian TV station report that the Gunners have asked Partizan to name their price for the 17 year old, and this has concerned Serie A club Fiorentina who are believed to have an agreement in place with the player that would see the forward making the switch to Italy.
To prevent them losing out on the young Serbian, the Viola are said to be intent on securing the player in the January transfer window to head off any attempt from the Gunners to hijack the deal.
Vlahovic has already played 27 times for Partizan over the past two seasons, scoring three goals and contributing one assist. He is yet to play for Serbia at either under 21 or senior level, and his last caps came at under 19 level back in 2016, scoring his only goal in a 3-2 defeat against Sweden last November.
