Arsenal and Real Madrid have joined Liverpool and Tottenham in pursuing a deal for Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic, according to both Transfermarketweb and Calciomercato.com.

The Gunners are likely scouting potential alternatives to Thomas Lemar, who they narrowly missed out on last month. Pulisic has been pursued for well over a year by Liverpool whose manager Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the American international.

The 19 year old signed a new contract back in January which ended much of the speculation surrounding his future, but the right winger’s prestigious talent means he is attracting interest from across Europe.

This season for Dortmund, he has become an established first team player under new manager Peter Bosz. In nine appearances so far in all competitions, Pulisic has scored three times and provided one assist.

Despite being only a teenager, he has 16 caps for the United States, and has scored an impressive seven goals for his country already.
