Juventus are considering a bid for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

Sources in England have reportedly told the Italian website that Juve may look to sign the 25 year old with the player having just one year left on his contract at the Emirates.

Wilshere stepped up his recovery from a broken leg by playing for the Gunners’ Under 23 side on Monday but he is said to be resigned to his Arsenal career ending with no new contract talks on the horizon.

Serie A champions Juventus have been actively seeking a new central midfielder all summer but they have been priced out of a move for the €40m rated Steven N’Zonzi as well as failing in their attempts to sign Liverpool’s Emre Can.

Another Italian side Sampdoria are believed to have bid £7.5m for Wilshere last month but were said to be put off by Wilshere’s wage demands. Juve are unlikely to have that problem but whether they are indeed interested in the England international, we will find out in the next two weeks.
