Inter Milan are interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to Blastingnews.com.

The Italian website reports that the Serie A club’s ambitious Chinese owners the Suning Group want to sign a marquee player in the middle of the park, and they are looking at Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal and Roma’s Radja Nainggolan, as well as Ramsey.

The Italian side believe that they will need to spend over €50m if they want to sign Ramsey, and to reduce the up front cost, they will attempt to offer midfielder Marcelo Brozovic as part of the deal.

The Serbian has been linked with a move to the Gunners in the past, but the 24 year old is not an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal like Ramsey. It must be said however that last season the Inter midfielder played 28 times, four fewer than Ramsey (32) but scored six goals, two more than the Welsh international, and provided four assists (one fewer than the Gunners star’s five).

Any bid from Inter would likely be rejected by Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger. The 26 year old made a crucial impact after coming on as a substitute against Leicester City on Friday, scoring in a 4-3 win.
