Deportivo La Coruna have not given up on signing Arsenal striker Lucas Perez, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish club have had two bids rejected by the Gunners for the forward with the London club looking to hold out for their reported €15m asking price.
Depor’s last offer was believed to be €12m, €3m short of Arsenal’s price tag, and it seems that the La Liga side may look to change their approach for Perez.
Mundo Deportivo are reporting that Deportivo are mulling over a loan proposal with the option to buy at the end of the season. No doubt the amount for both the loan and future transfer fee would have to match Arsenal’s price tag, but it’s not likely such a proposal would be acceptable to the Gunners.
The Evening Standard report that the club have already rejected a loan offer from Newcastle for Perez, and it seems they want the player to leave the club permanently with no temporary moves being considered.
