Inter Milan remain locked in talks to sign Nice wing back Dalbert, according to Nice-Matin. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City have all been linked by the same local newspaper with the Brazilian in recent weeks.

The 23 year old however spoke out a couple of weeks ago that he has set his sights on a move to Inter but it remains the case that the Serie A club have not agreed a transfer fee with Nice for the player.

More discussions were held between Nice’s officials and the Italian side’s representatives on Monday, Nice-Matin reports, but the Ligue One club are still holding out for €25million (£22.3m), €5million below the player’s release clause.

Talks have been ongoing for several weeks with no breakthrough and it could be the case that the move breaks down. Whether Arsenal would be interested in strengthening the left wing back role with players such as Sead Kolasniac, Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs all currently in the squad, it remains to be seen.
