Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik could join either Nottingham Forest or Red Bull Salzburg on loan before next Thursday, according to Przeglad Sportowy.
The Polish news outlet say that Forest are the favourites to sign the 19 year old because the Championship club are happy to accept the player joining on a straight loan deal, while Salzburg want to have a purchase option in the agreement for the Polish Under 19 international.
Bielik would reportedly be happy to join the Austrian Bundesliga champions, with the club having qualified for the Europa League. They face Marseille, Vitoria de Guimareas and Konyaspor in the group stages of the competition.
Arsenal are however reluctant to sell the centre back, and would prefer a similar deal to the one that saw Bielik join Birmingham City for the second half of last season. The defender is currently playing for the Gunners’ Under 23 side but he would no doubt gain more experience playing in the Championship next season on a second loan spell.
