Real Madrid will refuse to sell Marcos Llorente to city rivals Atletico, according to AS, giving a greater chance of signing the 22 year old.

The Spanish publication say that in addition to Atletico, there are six clubs interested in the former Spanish Under 21 . The have been joined in the hunt by Barcelona, , , and Liverpool.

Llorente came back from a season long spell at Alaves to be part of Real’s first team plans this campaign, but he remains behind in the pecking order at the .

Real may consider selling Llorente for the right price, AS reports, and it would be considerably less than the massive €200million release clause that the player has in his contract.

Gunners boss has been linked with a number of central midfield this summer but so far there have been no signings that have strengthened the middle of the park.
