Arsenal are among a number of clubs keeping a close eye on Aston Villa winger Andre Green, according to the Mirror.
The Gunners, along with Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester City have been scouting the England Under 19 international for a while, and they have now been joined by Crystal Palace and Bournemouth in watching the 19 year old.
Scouts for the Eagles and the Cherries were present for Villa’s 2-1 defeat to Reading last Tuesday. The player then featured against Norwich City on Saturday and scored his first senior goal for the club in the 4-2 win. He was however not included in the squad for Villa’s 4-1 win over Wigan Athletic in the EFL Cup tie yesterday evening.
Green can play on either wing, but three of his four games for Steve Bruce’s side this season has come as a left winger. Although he is predominantly right footed, he prefers cutting in from the left hand side onto his stronger foot.
