Arsenal have had a bid turned down by Paris Saint-Germain for winger Lucas Moura, according to UOL Esporte.
The Brazilian news outlet however say that PSG are willing to negotiate for a figure around €30m or £27m. They signed the 24 year old for €43million (£36m) back in 2013 but the midfielder has failed to establish himself as a regular first team player.
The arrival of Neymar means Moura will move further down the pecking order at the Parc des Princes. The Gunners will be considering alternatives to Monaco’s Thomas Lemar with negotiations having dragged on for a number of weeks.
Moura would be a cheaper option than the Frenchman, and is also available for transfer. His 19 goals and 11 assists in all competitions last season for PSG also compares pretty favourably to Lemar who scored five fewer goals (14 in total) than the Brazilian but did contribute six more assists (17) for Monaco last campaign.
