Cagliari, Verona and Sassuolo are all interested in signing Arsenal right back Carl Jenkinson, according to the Corriere Dello Sport.

The Italian newspaper also reports that a number of German clubs are monitoring the 25 year old. The England international has no future at the Emirates with manager Arsene Wenger having omitted the defender from squad for the tour of the Far East.

Crystal Palace were close to signing Jenkinson in the January transfer window, but the deal was not finalised, with reports suggesting the full back could not agree personal terms with the Eagles.

It is likely that the defender would have to take a pay cut if he were to move to either Italy or Germany, but with very few English clubs interested, he may have to consider a move abroad in order to get first team football.

Jenkinson has played just 62 times for Arsenal over a six year period. A two year loan spell with West Ham and injuries have meant his appearances for the Gunners have been limited, and with a year left on his contract, his time in London looks to be coming to an end.
