Inter Milan are interested in Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey, according to the Corriere Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com).
The Serie A club are looking to replace Portuguese playmaker Joao Mario who has failed to live up to expectations since his £34m move from Sporting Lisbon last summer, and they see the Welsh international as a good alternative.
Ramsey has two years remaining on his current deal at the Emirates, and in recent weeks the Daily Telegraph have reported that the Gunners are keen to tie him down to a longer term contract.
Arsenal fear the same situation next year with the Welshman as they have with Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer, and are believed to be determined to not allow the 26 year old enter into the last 12 months of his deal with the club.
The midfielder struggled with hamstring and calf problems last season, and was limited to 32 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and contributing five assists.
