Inter Milan want to make Alexis Sanchez the ‘poster boy’ of the Serie A club this summer.

The San Siro club are owned by Chinese retail billionaires Suning and are keen to add the Chilean forward to a new look side under new boss Luciano Spalletti.

According to Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are now ready to make a move for the 28-year-old after Bayern Munich ended their interest upon hearing the Chile international is reportedly demanding wages of £400,000-a-week to remain at the Emirates.

Sanchez, who netted 30 goals in all competitions for the Gunners last season, has one year left to run on his current deal at the Emirates and has yet to agree new terms.

Arsene Wenger is reluctant to sell Sanchez to another Premier League rival, but has not closed the door on a move abroad, leaving Inter in a good position to sign him.

Sanchez did tell the media during the Confederations Cup a few weeks ago that he has decided his future. Despite modelling Arsenal’s new kit for the upcoming season, the former Barcelona forward has yet to publicly state where he will be playing his football after the transfer window closes.
