Fenerbahce Administrative Manager Hasan Cetinkaya is set to travel to the UK in order to persuade Arsenal striker to join the Turkish club on loan this summer, according to Taksim.

The Turkish newspaper report that Fenerbahce are unable to buy Perez outright as the the Gunners would like because of Financial Fair Play regulations. They are aware that Arsenal are seeking a permanent deal worth €15m but they are hopeful an agreement can be reached.

The former Deportivo La Coruna striker was not included in Arsenal’s tour party to Australia and his number nine shirt was given to new signing Alexandre Lacazette while the Spanish forward has been moved to number 28.

Perez struggled for game time last season, only making nine starts in all competitions. His agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle has spoken out in recent weeks about the player’s desire to leave the Emirates in order to get more first team football.
