Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio will use interest from clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus in order to negotiate a new contract with the La Liga champions, according to Don Balon.
The Spanish publication reports that the 21 year old is interesting the Gunners, as well as Juve, who will look to make a bid for the Spanish international if they lose Paulo Dybala to Barcelona.
United manager Jose Mourinho is also a keen admirer of Asensio and would look to make a sizeable offer for the midfielder if the player indicates he wants to leave the Bernabeu this summer.
For the time being though it seems the player’s focus is to land a new deal at the Champions League winners. Real president Florentino Perez is believed to be playing hard ball in negotiations with Asensio, but Don Balon say the interest from other clubs will prompt Real to pay up and give in to the player’s demands. If not, Arsenal will be waiting in the wings.
