Inter Milan have confirmed the signing of Lyngby striker Jens Odgaard on a four year contract. The Danish starlet had been linked with a move to Arsenal and a host of other top European clubs, but he has now completed his move to Italy.

The 18 year old was left out of the squad for Lyngby’s Europa League qualifier against Bangor, and has instead been included in the group of players that will head to Brunico for Inter’s pre-season training camp.

Odgaard made his debut for Lyngby as a 16 year old, making an instant impact by scoring on his first appearance in a 2-1 Danish Cup defeat against Aalborg. He made his full league debut at the back end of the 2015/16 season before playing a more prominent role for Lyngby in the club’s first season back in the top flight, making 17 appearances and scoring four goals.

Reports in Italy on Sunday suggested that Inter will pay €10million or £8.8million for the forward.
