Nice have reportedly confirmed that wing back Dalbert will only be allowed to leave this summer if a club meets the player’s €30million release clause.
The Brazilian is being pursued by Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Inter Milan according to newspaper Nice-Matin, and speaking to the French publication, an unnamed source high up at the Ligue One side said:
“We will not give in [for] less than €30m, the amount of his clause.”
Up until now the clause was believed to be €25million but it seems any club will now have to shell out an additional €5m if they want to sign the 23 year old this summer.
Dalbert only signed for £1.7m from Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes last summer but his stock has risen fast. His ability to play either as a left back or on the left wing means he is equally comfortable in a back four or in a back five. He made 38 appearances in all competitions for Nice last season, contributing four assists.
