Arsenal and Liverpool have enquired about the availability of Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, according to OK Diario.
The Spanish publication reports that no official bid has been put on the table from either club but both Arsene Wenger and Jurgen Klopp are said to be keen to sign the 25 year old. Any move could prove difficult though.
OK Diario report that Real manager Zinedine Zidane is a massive fan of the Spaniard, and it seems any move away from the Bernabeu this summer looks almost impossible.
Vazquez made 50 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga club last season. Although he isn’t a prolific goalscorer (he managed just four goals last campaign), his assist record was impressive with the Spaniard creating 14 goals for his team mates.
Vazquez’s main rival on the right wing, Gareth Bale, missed a number of games last season, allowing the Spanish international a greater amount of game time. The departure of James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich means the Spaniard could feature prominently if the Welshman’s injury problems persist.
