Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has received offers from Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal and Liverpool, according to Diario Gol.

The Spanish website report that the Frenchman does not believe he has received the full backing of the club and President Florentino Perez since the blackmail controversy with France team mate Mathieu Valbuena.

Manager Zinedine Zidane is fully behind Benzema but the 29 year old doesn’t feel he has been given enough credit for what he has achieved with the club. Perez is said to have been surprised by the striker’s attitude and because the player is nearing 30, Diario Gol report that he may call Benzema’s bluff and look to sell him this summer.

The first offer on the table is believed to be from PSG which Real are giving some serious thought about. The offer from Liverpool seems to be a no-go as Benzema doesn’t think he will fit Jurgen Klopp’s high pressing game. Arsenal’s interest is however reportedly long standing with Diario Gol reporting that Arsene Wenger is keen to pair up Benzema with Olivier Giroud.

It’s certainly best to treat this type of story with a pinch of salt though. Zidane will most likely be a key factor in this. The Real Madrid head coach is a big admirer of Benzema and he was the club’s number one striker under Zizou last season.
