The Chile international, 28, has been heavily linked with a move away from Arsenal as a new deal has yet to be agreed.

Sanchez only has one-year left on his current deal at the and it’s been mooted that he will seek a move away from the Gunners due to the club’s poor Premier League campaign last season where they finished outside the top four for the first time under Arsene Wenger.

Reports in Germany yesterday suggested that Bayern are ready to offer Sanchez a huge £21.7million-a-year to join the giants, but Chilean journalist Fernando Solabarrieta (via The Sun) is now claiming Sanchez is set to stay in the Premier League and has completed his move to Manchester City.

City are already splashing the cash for next season’s pursuit of the Premier League by signing Silva from for £43million and will look to do the same with Sanchez.

Arsenal have since denied any such deal has been agreed with City, whilst would rather sell him abroad than to a Premier League rival if the worse was to happen.

With only 12 months left to run on Sanchez’s current deal, will have to decide whether to offload the striker in the upcoming months and recoup the money spent on him three years ago or risk losing him on a free next summer, should the Chilean decide not to sign a new contract at Arsenal.
