Inter Milan are looking to sign Arsenal keeper Wojciech Szczesny, according to AlfredoPedulla.com.

The Italian website reports that negotiations with Juventus over the Polish international have stalled because the Bianconeri have refused to meet the Gunners’ €15m (£13m) asking price, offering only half that amount so far.

Inter Sporting Director Walter Sabatini is believed to have an excellent relationship with Arsenal, and has already been given approval by new head coach Luciano Spalletti to pursue a deal for Szczesny.

Arsenal have continued to maintain the same stance in their dealings with clubs over the goalkeeper. He spent two years on loan at Roma, and they requested the Giallorossi meet the €15million valuation if they wanted to sign him permanently; something they refused to do.

They are maintaining the same asking price with Juventus, and it seems that if Juve can’t agree on the transfer fee, Inter could yet steal the keeper from under their Serie A rival’s noses.
